Sid Features Metrics
We are working on enabling a page, something similar to a Facebook Wall. Where users can express their thoughts share their views. While comments make these
specific to the post, this place will be more generic. We are basing this on the Google Friend Connect platform, so the users won’t have to register with us or remember another set of passwords.
We would mostly publish this page on the India Special site by 8th Feb 2009. We want thank one of our reader, Swati K, for suggesting this enhancement.

Sid Features Google Friend Connect
We have implemented a new comments system on India Special called Disqus.
The following are a few features that will enhance user experience on the site:
1) Create comment threads
2) Add Video comments
3) Reply and rate comments posted by other users
4) Auto removal of low ranked posts
5) Integration with Friendfeed and Twitter, which means comments posted are stream to those sites and vice-versa
You can choose to add comments directly or register for a Disqus account for future use.
Also please note that the comments are not moderated, however both users and administrators have authority to remove comments that are irrelevant, obscene or spam.
